The Closing of One Door, Can Always Open A Window.

The streets were lively as the smell of burnt rubber singed the noses of bystanders. The screeching heard for miles around, followed by two almost simultaneous bangs. The crunched metal warped around each other, as if placed carefully; laying on peace on top of another. A few yards away, a man lay on the ground; cursing in a slurred mess. "My **** car, lookss what you did." He said, pointing to the other car infused with his. The people in side, a young couple that had just married and where headed off to their honeymoon. Until this drunkard decided to hop behind the wheel. As the man continued to curse at them, they lay there unconscious; as if the airbags where like a bed. Their dog, Jayden, was unscathed. His attitude though had such a ferocity to each bark, that it stirred the couple. "Huh? Joseph, you ok?" The young girl says, her flushed face contrasted by spots of crimson blood. "HHHmmmmmmm, y-yeah. Just a bit bruised Anahi." He says in reply, looking over to the drunkard who now stumbled towards him. "Was he the one who ran into us?"
"Mhm." She said, looking at the  man and raising an eyebrow. "He seems a bit intoxicated."
"Yup, he is; I know that slurred speech and stumble a bit to well." He says, opening the door and walking over to hers; doing the same for her. They walk towards the man, who now wandered around central park. He reeked of liquor, his slurred words not making any sense by now. "Hey man, you got insurance." The man just nods and hands him the card, and the couple does the same. After the exchange, the couple called their dog over and began to pray. The man watched as they did so, and walked over toward them. His stumble changed to a straight walk and his speech became un-slurred as he stood near them. Even the dog bowed his head and prayed, Huskies were smart, but this was amazing to the man. He felt a calming, peaceful and joyful sensation come over him. With a glance to his hand, he notices a beer can that was half empty. With a swing of his arm, he sent the can flying into a trashcan nearby. Though he still smelled like a distillery, he sat and prayed with the couple. He felt the best he had ever felt in years, entirely sober in a matter of seconds. The couple looked to the man saying "The power of GOD is great, his grace and his love for us." The man nods. they continue to pray until the sun set, followed by the ball drop came to an end, closing the year 2015, and giving way to 2016. The man Saved in Christ and leading a new life.
